COBADE is a Disability focus humanitarian organization let by Persons with disabilities, and strongly backed up by persons without disability making it inclusive.
Promote; Social Integration, Inclusive Education, Socio-Economic Empowerment and rights of persons with Disability by carrying out advocacy, intervention, mitigation and reconciling disability related issues so as to ensure justice, inclusion and empowerment for persons with disabilities hoping to achieve opportunities without discrimination for all, “Live no one behind”.
To reduce the sufferings of persons with disabilities by ensuring their welfare and restoring their dignity.
Considering the fact that due to ignorance most persons with disabilities even in the past as well as the present are still faced with the challenges of education and economic empowerment which are the core values of necessary for effective inclusion of persons with disabilities in all spheres of life. This will surely push forth the principle of “Nothing about us without us”, and live no one behind as enshrine in the millennium development goal 17.
COBADE was created on the 10th August 2021 and formerly Registered on the 2nd November 2022.
It has a total of 52 members active members.
