COBADE is a Disability focus humanitarian organization let by Persons with disabilities, and strongly backed up by persons without disability making it inclusive.
We work on the Health and protection, education, nutrition, socio-economic empowerment and advocacy for persons with disabilities with respect with the humanitarian program circle where we plan, collect data on need assessment and analysis, mobilize resources, Implementation, monitor and evaluate and feedback all inline with the humanitarian principles.
Education: Accompanying children with disabilities with back-to-school materials etc. already implemented in First, Second and Third Edition.
Nutrition: Outreach to persons and Widows, orphans and host communities, during Esther and festive periods in December
Health and Protection: identifying cases needing medical attention and assistive devices and make referrals or partner with other organizations for attention and Positive Response Actions (PRA).
Identifying persons with disabilities and children of parents with disabilities without relevant identification documents such as Birth Certificates, Disability cards etc and follow-up for this to be established and provided.
Socio-Economic empowerment: identify persons with disabilities with no income generating activities and train them on skills or trade acquisition, possibly encouraging them with startup capital.
Promote Social Integration, Inclusive Education, Socio-Economic Empowerment
